Several of the Main Menu selections (those ending in ellipsis) will bring
up submenus.
Once you have entered a submenu, you can return to the previous menu
level by pressing the u key.
The only Main Menu choices that do not enter submenus are `4' for the
Unix Shell and `6' to exit the system.
If you enter the Unix Shell, you can exit back to the menu by typing
`exit' at the Unix prompt.
If you are not already familiar with Unix, you will need a book on Unix
to get you going.
Additional help on items in the menus is available under the Help
Submenu, choice `5' in the Main Menu.
The Main Menu and submenus on the system may be navigated in several ways. The up and down arrow keys move the pointer used to select menu items. Note that the `j' and `k' keys also move the pointer down and up respectively. Also, typing a number will move the pointer to that menu item. Pressing return or enter will select the menu item currently indicated by the pointer. At any time, you may press the q key to quit. You will be prompted to be sure you really want to quit.
As time goes on, the menu structure will be expanded to include more applications and more options. Feel free to make suggestions regarding the menu or any other part of our service by sending email to manager or by calling during normal help desk hours.

The manual pages are displayed using a Unix utility called `less'.
There are many things that you can do with less; typing `h' at the
`less' prompt will list many of the `less' commands.
Some of the simple commands are `f' to scroll forward, `b' to scroll
back, `q' to quit.
